Japanese Volcano Erupts – Kirishima 2011

We were not yet over with the news about the 8.9 magnitude earthquake and the tsunamis that which feared to have killed more than 10,000 people and now another news came out that a volcano in Southwestern Japan erupted this Sunday after nearly two weeks of relative silence.

The 1,421-metre (4,689-feet) Shinmoedake volcano in the Kirishima range saw its first major eruption for 52 years in January and no signs were made since March 1 but just now, i am reading the news that a volcano warning at level three out of five were arise again.

It was not yet cleared if this eruption was triggered by the earthquake that had happened but i have a feeling that it was one of the causes because earthquakes makes  a sleeping volcano restless.

We are just hoping that all of this will come to it’s end and everybody will be safe. Prayer is still the best shield we have in this time of crisis.
