Written by author on June 9, 2010 – 12:55 am -

Of course, i like Keanu Reeves and yes you would think that he is one of my crushes considering that i have already blog about him a dozen times perhaps. LOL.  Yes, i also love his movies, it was really good and interesting.

Iq options Iq-option تداول الفوركس For this theme today.  I was thinking to choose the Matrix because it was a very modern and based on a computer world too but i prefer to choose his other movie Johnny Mnemonic.  Before this movie was released , i have already read the book  so i already know the story of it but i also appreciate the movie because of course it is more easy to understand watching them than reading them with all those. (dot, dot….. and numbers in the book).   Well this movie is really shown a  long time ago and to tell you the truth , i could not remember the full story of it, so i have to rely on the internet for the sypnosis.

In 2021, the whole world is connected by the gigantic Internet, and almost a half of the population is suffering from the Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS).Johnny with an inplanted memory chip in his brain was ordered to transport the over loaded information from Beijing to Newark. While Pharmakom Industries supported by yakuza tries to capture him to get the informaiton back, the Low-tech group led by J-Bone tries to break the missing code to download the cure of NAS which Johnny carries.

The year is 2021, and half of the Earth’s population is suffering from the disease known as Nerve Attenuation Syndrome (NAS). Johnny, a mnemonic data courier, is hired to carry 320 gigabytes of crucial information to safety from the Pharmacom corporation. Pursued by Yakuza agents and a crazed cyborg, Johnny must deliver the data or die in twenty-four hours.

Enjoy Watching!

Tuesday Couch Potato – From A Book

Written by author on May 3, 2010 – 10:07 pm -

Today’s theme is From a Book.  I am making a copy-paste on my old post. Beside, they are really my favorite.   LOL. ooh, still super lazy.  LOL.
Since I was a kid , i have been fascinated with spies and espionage books.  Maybe that is the one thing that I get from my father.  I remember that I have been dreaming that I am one of the female hero from my favorite books.  When my favorites books were turned into movies,  surely I would not  miss it.

One of my favorite author is John Le Carre and I have been very vocal of wishing that I could have all his books.  Some of his beautiful works are already turned into movies and luckily, I was able to watch it.

Among them are:  Tailor of Panama starring – : Pierce Brosnan, Geoffrey Rush, Jamie Lee Curtis,

The Constant Gardener – Ralph Fiennes, Rachel Weisz (which really made me cry)

The Russia House – Sean Connery, Michelle Pfeiffer, Roy Scheider

The Little Drummer Girl – Diane Keaton

The Spy who came in from the Cold – Richard Burton

(This book was considered One of the Greatest on the Genre)

The Looking Glass War – Anthony Hopkins

Tom Clancy – Patriot Games – Harrison Ford, Anne Archer

The Sum of All Fears – Ben Affleck, Morgan Freeman, James Cromwell

The Hunt for Red october – Sean Connery, Alec Baldwin

Cardinal of Kremlin – Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson

Flight of the Intruder – Danny Glover, Willem Dafoe,

Under Siege – Steven Seagal, Tommy Lee Jones,

I cannot choose what movie is the best for me.  Because all these movies are really great.

Why everybody loves Julia?

Written by author on April 12, 2010 – 11:46 pm -

ho would not know this beautiful gal from Atlanta, Georgia who dominated not just Hollywood but also well loved by many people around the globe.  She was one of the highest paid actresses in the world and she has been named one of People magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” eleven times, tied with Halle Berry. (wikipedia).

To date, she has done 44 films , had been nominated on most of them and was able to receive awards from numerous award giving body. She also appeared in 7 television episodes and is now currently living the life she wanted with her family and childrens.

So, if you would ask me, which movie Julia had made that I like most, I really could not  make a choice.  I love her movies, I have watched most of them,  yet if you would really insist that I should rank it then here are my top 3.

Top 3 -  Erin Brockovich – In this film, she portray a single mother of three children who make a stand and fight for what is right.

She won 9 Best Actress Award in this movie.

Top 2

Pretty Woman- who would forget this film and who would forget  their sound track? ” Oh pretty woman – they must be referring to me. LOL .

It must have been love by Roxette is one of my fave song too.

And my Top 1

yes, I totally love her character here and given the fact that Hugh Grant was his love interest in this movie (Hugh Grant is one of my crushes in my high school years)LOL.

A well known actress falls in love with a simple guy.  I have watched this movie for 5 times  and I totally love her line  “I’m a just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her” .

Well, that is love! Love, love, love.
